With over 8 years of experience in the property management industry, Tanya's knowledge spans the Public, Multifamily and Tax Credit (Mixed Financed) housing industries. While the differences in the industries are subtle, success is in the details. Her knowledge of the nuances of the industries are what makes Tanya an invaluable part of the Proficient Management Services team! The Vice-President of the company, Tanya is charged with overseeing the activities of staff and professional consultants alike.
An innovative administrator and consumate professional, she is constantly engaging the staff and challenging them to perform better. Tanya realizes that change and re-invention are necessary in the fast paced world of housing management. To this end, Tanya likes to rely on feedback from our clients and staff. She is concerned with providing the best service; while getting the most out of the staff. At the same time she is cognizant of our team's need to be involved in pushing the company forward.
A born go getter and visionary, Tanya co-founded Proficient Management Services in 2005. Her tireless efforts to create a business that would work for its clients and assist in maintaining the quality of life for residents have finally been realized. Her service oriented management style and firm, but fair approach have made her a favorite of many of our clients! Tanya holds a degree in Government and Politics from Widener University, a host of certifications in the property management field to include: the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and the Site Compliance Specialist (SCS). She also has a Real Estate Salesperson License in Pennsylvania and is a candidate for the coveted Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
Tanya's certifications have been awarded by the following organizations: Institute of Real Estate Managers (IREM), National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), Lorman (Landlord & Tenant Law), Quadel, Nan McKay & Associates and Elizabeth Moreland.
